Turning 6! Happy New Year

The years sure do seem to fly by!  I can't believe my little baby is now 6yrs old.  It always ends up being a multi-holiday event with New Years Eve occurring at the same time.  So party favors and decor usually involve blow horns and top hats and other sparkly things. She has yet to stay up for the fireworks and festivities of the countdown to the year but that's usually how I end up ending the evening with a new resolution to dedicate myself yet again to Emma's recovery.  As all Autism parents know, it is a quest that requires constant dedication and fortitude.  This years gluten-free, casein-free, egg-free, soy-free (GFCFEFSF) birthday cake was a success.  Done with years of me slaving away trying to make something remotely edible. And hello to Whole Foods' new version of an amazing cupcake that she loved!  Thank God!
